Structural design starts with the architectural brief, ground investigation data and loads. We define the structural system, foundation approach and interaction of key elements. Comparing options helps align the structure with the layout and construction methods.
We design foundations, columns, walls, beams, floors, stairs and roofs within the agreed brief. Openings and cast-in components are coordinated with building services engineers. When revising an existing design, we first review its documentation so that changes to one element account for the behaviour of the whole system.

A justified solution requires ground data, the structural system and loads. During the initial consultation, we identify any missing information needed for analysis.
