We start with the building’s needs: user numbers, operating schedules, processes and equipment requirements. We review the available connection conditions and identify which internal and external systems need design.
We coordinate heating, ventilation, water supply, drainage and power with one another and the building design. Plant rooms, service routes, shafts, penetrations and maintenance zones are planned in advance. System parameters and specialist disciplines are defined for the specific building brief.

Yes. For a single discipline, we define the scope, input parameters and coordination process with the rest of the design.
Are external utility networks included in the building design?
Their scope and design boundaries are agreed separately based on connection conditions and the brief. In an integrated design, we coordinate external connections with internal systems.
